The good outweighed the bad, and I’d stay here again. It’s a decent option for a couple wanting to avoid Miami’s busy, traffic-heavy areas. My small studio had a queen bed, a bathroom with a single shower stall as tiny as a phone booth, a futon, dining table, and kitchenette with sink, fridge, freezer, trash bin, and microwave. The style was simple, cute, modern, and uncluttered, more chic and sparse than warm and cozy. The bed was medium-firm. Storage included one bedside table with two drawers, a small shelf unit with soft-sided cubes, and a little closet. The room was clean enough when I arrived. The linens were soft, the pillows were full and fluffy, and there were toiletries and a hair dryer. Digital locks were convenient. There’s a lot nearby: shops and restaurants, a metrorail stop, Whole Foods about a mile away, a small food market a block away, Gelatto across the street, and Carrot Express next door. The main street is easy to walk along and has nice lights at night. It was quiet inside. Parking is $15 a day, but ask the Inn for a permit before arrival so they can give you access. Reaching anyone who runs the Inn was the biggest problem. Their AI chatbot replies immediately to texts promising that someone will help, call, or come by “right away,” but then no one does. The security alarm on the main entry door rang in the hallway for nearly 24 hours before anyone came to turn it off. I felt bad for the people staying in the apartment next to it. I was also surprised to find makeup stains on the supposedly clean towel, especially since the Inn warns guests not to stain linens and provides white towels. They did have one tiny washcloth embroidered with “makeup,” but that wasn’t enough. As a vacation rental host myself, I use dark towels for this reason. Bright lights outside the window came through the inadequate covering and made it harder to sleep.

The location was good, but the room felt poor quality and overpriced. There was no hot water when I arrived, and nobody answered the service line despite several calls. The bathroom wasn’t clean and had strange red marks on the wall. I tried the shower again in the morning; after 15 minutes, the water was only lukewarm. I called the service line again and still got no answer.

The company communicated well, and check-in was simple. Getting into the unit was seamless, which made the whole experience easy.

The property was the worst. They never answer the phone, and the housekeepers lie to keep money. They’re rude, too. They said there had been smoking in the unit, but we smoked outside. Don’t book here. They don’t look after their customers.

The charge for alleged room “damages” at checkout was hard to believe. I left everything spotless and untouched, but they had no way to verify the room’s condition, and management wouldn’t even have a conversation with me. This was the worst customer experience I’ve had in dozens of stays. The room was also far too bright at night, with street and nearby building lights pouring in because there weren’t proper shades. Outside, traffic, shouting, and general chaos went on all night, and the Inn had no soundproofing. Earplugs didn’t help me sleep. Customer service might as well not have existed: emails went unanswered for days, while calls reached a receptionist who passed the issue to management and never got a reply. I couldn’t even get my complaints acknowledged, let alone resolved. I’d tell anyone to find another place. One out of ten. Avoid it.
