Margaritaville South Padre island Resort

Zuleyma made our visit memorable. Even with the bar busy, she kept our drinks coming quickly and just right, and checked in at the perfect times. She was welcoming, attentive, and had such a positive attitude. You can tell she cares about guests having a good time and enjoys her work. Margaritaville is lucky to have her. We hope she's our waitress again next time at Margaritaville South Padre Resort.

After a disaster with our VRBO, we had to switch to the hotel at the last minute and were pretty stressed. Rosie turned the day around by helping us check in early and making us feel welcome and cared for. Ernestro was a delight too, helping with parking and luggage and making us feel at home. Dj made us feel like family and gave us a reason to come back. His kindness, professionalism, and customer service made a real difference. The whole staff were fun, friendly, and attentive. Margaritaville saved our trip, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The property was clean, beautiful, and spacious, with lots of amenities. The location was convenient for the beach and nearby attractions.

We were hosting a car show, with staff arriving for their part and then leaving as new staff came in. Everyone at the resort was accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The location is gorgeous, and the pools are meticulously kept. This is definitely the place to be at South Padre Island.

The hotel, room, public spaces, and pool area were beautiful. Things were going well until Super Bowl Sunday, when the door to our room slammed on my hand. The cut was very deep and bled so badly I thought I might have severed an artery. A guest walking down the hall ran to the front desk for help, and security guard Manny came to assist. He was very nice and patched me up, though he didn't think I needed stitches. My complaint is that the next day nobody from the hotel checked how I was doing or offered any compensation. A couple of drinks or a nice meal would have been appropriate. This could have been very bad. Room 715, Feb 7-10, 2026.
