For this price, I was extremely dissatisfied. The included breakfast was a mess: food sat in racks in a cabinet meant for pastries or bread, and they couldn’t keep it stocked. Getting anything, especially bacon, was a nightmare. The oatmeal was barely warm and practically raw, there were no waffles, and no utensils for the hard-boiled eggs. The paper plates looked like the cheap kind from the 1970s. The biscuits were the only redeeming part. The franchisee needs a thorough inspection, and I’ll complain to the youth sporting event group that used this hotel too. Staff were slow to come to the desk. At check-in it felt like it was a hassle for someone to get up from the breakfast area, and later I saw staff behind green panels chatting and looking reluctant to step away. The room itself had a terrible bed, just thin padding over very firm inner springs. The sliding barn-style door wouldn’t fully close, and paint was peeling off it in big flakes. The half-flush toilet’s solid-waste setting was stuck down, and anything other than urine took 6-8 flushes. The room door frame was so out of square that I had to push or pull the door to secure it. It seemed loose at first, but the frame was the problem. It looked like a failed Fairfield Inn had been repurposed with particle board cabinets and a small apartment refrigerator-freezer, then priced up. How Hilton let it be listed as a Home2Suites is beyond me.

The rooms are good and the staff is great, but breakfast was bad. They microwave the food and put it in racks half an hour before serving. The bins are poorly designed and hard to get food out of, and with so many kinds of meat, nobody could tell me which was which. There’s no waffle maker for a hot breakfast. I even got sick after eating there one morning, so beware. The health department needs to look at the food issues.

Following the owner's reply, I called the property to give them a chance to discuss this. Bianca answered politely and said Hilton had written that response, not the hotel management or owner as the reply suggested. She said she wasn’t the right person to discuss it with, that the manager may have left, and that I should call the next day if I really wanted to talk. It doesn’t seem like anyone is interested in addressing the problem. My room, assigned through the Hilton app’s “pick a room for me” option, hadn’t been cleaned and the bed had been used. The hotel was poorly maintained. When I asked to switch rooms, although rooms were available, receptionist Cianna refused and made the situation hostile. I was charged for the full room despite not getting one. Cianna didn’t know who the GM was, how to contact them, or why there was a GM email address. Mrs. Bianca might be available the next morning, but I wasn’t given her last name or a way to contact her.

The breakfast fell short, and a few outlets in the room didn’t work, but we managed. What mattered most was how much the staff cared about helping me feel at home while I was away. During what felt like the winter apocalypse, I was trying to figure out how long I’d need to stay and whether I could get home safely. The staff kept me updated every day on road conditions, hotel amenities, and whether I could extend my stay, even though they were sold out. Everyone was great, and I spoke with Alex and Bianca several times. They helped me feel safe through all the uncertainty and made it clear they cared about my family being okay in the storm. It meant so much. I wish I could name everyone who worked during my stay. Please tell them thanks! :)

Alex at the front desk was very helpful, knowledgeable, and funny. Her smile is a great way to start a stay. Breakfast was really good, and the area was very clean. Everyone we dealt with was kind and helpful, so I’ll stay here whenever I come back. The hallways do show some wear and tear, probably from guests bumping into the walls, but otherwise the place is very clean and up to date.
