We needed a pet-friendly place in Sparta and found this motel. The dog fee is $10 a night, which seems reasonable. There wasn’t a military discount, but our total with tax was under $79, which we could accept. Check-in was quick and courteous, and the room turned out nicer and cleaner than I expected. It had a fridge, microwave, and little coffee maker, plus a very clean bathroom that looked recently updated. The bed was comfortable, and even with occupied rooms on both sides, it stayed very quiet overnight. We were there just one night, but would happily come back.

After a full day biking across Wisconsin, all we needed was a clean, roomy place where we could fit our bikes and walk to dinner and breakfast. This worked perfectly. My wife and I would gladly stay here again.

It feels like a family place when you're away from your own. The management and groundskeeper make me feel safe and recognized as a single woman in a town where I’m a stranger, and the atmosphere is friendly, with lovely flowers and plants. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean, with comfortable, high quality beds and pillows. The heated pool is clean and chemically balanced. Weekly rates are fair and affordable, and the mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker really help on a longer stay. It seems well set up for workers and professionals too.

I was here for five months on a pipeline job, and Mr K and his family took good care of me and my crew. They’re an awesome, loving family. If anything went wrong, Mr K and his one-man army, Mr Brad, stayed on top of it. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in this part of the state.
