Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sparta, WI

We had a great time celebrating the New Year countdown in the kitchen, and the staff were accommodating with whatever we needed. The rooms were clean, too. Country Inn and Suites felt homey, and we’d happily return with friends and family. I’d recommend it to friends traveling to Sparta, Wisconsin. Five stars from us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

For the price, this place is better than a lot of hotels. The building and rooms were clean, though the pillows had that usual squishy hotel feel. Our room was extremely hot when we walked in, so we had to shut off the heater to make it comfortable. The pool area, on the other hand, was cold, and the hot tub wasn’t very hot either, which was a letdown since we’d been looking forward to it.

The bed was comfortable, and the sheets and towels smelled of bleach, so at least I felt sure they were clean. The rest of the stay was rough. The pool area had flooded and the ceiling was coming down, while the WiFi kept cutting out when I was trying to finish work in my room. During the snow, only the main entrance had been shoveled; the side doors were so slippery they felt like a fall waiting to happen. Everything seemed worn or like it was falling apart. I won't stay here again.

I liked the staff, and they accepted cats. The doors wouldn't close all the way, which was scary, and the beds hurt so much that I ended up sleeping on the floor. The heat had been cranked up to 90. It was well below freezing outside when I checked in, and that sudden change made me throw up twice. I've never paid money to feel that tortured.
