I was hoping to stay here while attending training at Ft. McCoy instead of using the lodge on base. I found out at the last minute that I couldn't get reimbursed for it, and the manager was kind enough to work with me and cancel the reservation. He was very accommodating and nice. First-class service and kindness. Thank you, sir!

The staff make you feel like a friend or family member, and they were incredibly nice. The rooms are very clean, and the inn is easy to find. It's only a few blocks from downtown Sparta and a mile or two from restaurants and shops. The bicycle trail is right there too if you're visiting the bicycling capital of America. It's not a big fancy hotel, but the prices are reasonable and I'd highly recommend it if you need somewhere to stay for a while. I can't say enough good things about the staff.

I visited someone who was staying here. The room seemed clean and nice for the price they told me. It had a king bed, microwave, fridge, and a small sitting couch.

The shower is quite small, though I don't spend much time in one anyway. The room was cleaned with excellent service, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great, close to downtown and a convenience store. I stayed nearly four months. The rooms are being remodeled and look nice. I'd recommend this place for a short stay or a longer one.

Good restaurants are an easy walk from here, and bicycles are allowed in the rooms. If you're riding the Elroy-Sparta trail, it's a nice, clean hotel for a night.
