Bell's Motor Lodge Motel

For work, this was a good budget place: clean rooms, comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, and a big wall-mounted TV with plenty of cable channels. The staff were friendly and brought clean towels and service when we asked. The manager and his wife were nice to talk to. We also appreciated that they didn’t allow riff raff like the drama we’ve seen at run-down mom and pop motels in bigger cities where we work. There aren’t extras like breakfast or a gym, but the price made sense. This area gets lots of tourists, and we were glad to avoid the $220 - $500 a night that most other places charge. We’ll call them when we’re back.

The staff were great, super friendly and helpful, and the beds were really comfortable. But the room setup needs attention. There were bugs in the bathroom, the heater smelled like burning plastic, and the outlets were hard to find and badly placed. Anything we plugged in, even the lamps, fell right back out. I don’t blame the employees at all, they did an amazing job. Management needs to make serious changes.

Scott is the best boss ever, and this little Ma & Pa motel is my favorite. I’ve worked in the hotel industry for many years, but I’ve never walked into a room that smelled so fresh and looked so good. The rooms are immaculate. I’d recommend it to everyone, families included.

The pool was a nice extra, and the water was just the right temperature. They had ice available and bags of ice for sale. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was a lovely stay, and I’d come back.
