The owner and staff clearly want guests to have the best stay they can in Spencer. When we raised a concern about the room, the owner responded right away and moved us to another one. By the day we checked out, people were already working on the first room to fix the issue. We liked that original room and its bed was very comfortable, though the bed in the second room wasn’t as good. That’s the only reason I took off a star. It would’ve been five otherwise.

Great spot, with a gas station across the street and food nearby. The room had vinyl flooring instead of carpet, which I loved. It was really clean, the bed was comfy, and there weren’t any loud neighbors. I’d definitely stay here again.

We got a ground-floor room with parking right outside the door, and there were no noise problems. The room was the cheapest in town, and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was clean, updated, and nicely decorated, with comfortable linens and bed, a huge flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a newer, very quiet cooling unit. The young woman at the desk was friendly. Great place to stay, we’ll be back!

We’ve stayed here twice while visiting family. Both times the rooms were clean and free of insects, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Most of the other guests seemed to be long-term construction workers and were friendly too. There was no excessive noise at night or early in the morning. Worth the price.
