I booked two nights through Expedia, but when I got there they told me the place had shut down. They said I’d have to get my refund through Expedia, which is a long, painful process. I’m not happy about it at all.

The room just felt gross, and the sheets had blood stains. The area of town felt really unsavory. Going there was a bad decision at the worst possible time. I’d never stay there again, and definitely wouldn’t bring children. Just beware.

With coronavirus out, this was the nastiest place I’ve stayed. The room smelled bad and didn’t seem to have been cleaned. The shower and microwave didn’t work. The floors needed mopping, and the carpet was filthy, hadn’t been vacuumed, and badly needed cleaning.

It’s also a cheap place. I lived there for about three months after I first moved to Rutherford County, when I got a job within walking distance of Try-City. I liked it.

I wish I could give it zero stars. The bathroom door didn’t even have a knob, and the sink didn’t work. Most things in the room don’t work, and there’s no clean cloth or towel each day, or fresh sheets daily. They don’t do any cleaning at all. It’s a very trashy place. I might report it, not sure yet.
