The owner was very nice, and the bed was comfortable and acceptably clean. The bathroom was mostly clean, so no worries there. The rooms themselves weren’t clean, though. It’s inexpensive and convenient to a lot of places, so it’ll do in a pinch.

I didn’t stay after arriving because the place didn’t feel safe to me, given how misleading the listing seemed. The booking site called it a brand-new hotel and showed tennis courts and a playground, but there were none of those. What I found was a handful of makeshift rooms behind someone’s home, built into an old shed with a tarp over part of the sagging roof. It didn’t seem like a hotel at all. The listing was false advertising and a misleading representation.

The owner wanted $120 for a six-hour check-in instead of offering an early check-in fee like competing hotels do.

The rooms are beautiful and really nice. You can adjust both the heating and cooling to suit your needs. I was surprised to learn clean towels are provided only once a week, though. I ended up running to walmart to buy enough to use one each day, especially washcloths. Bring your own if you’re staying more than a few days.

While my house was being renovated, I stayed there for months and always paid on time. They charged me $120 a night for months when the rate was $90, and the weekly price was $500 but I was charged $630. I only found out after different friends called and were quoted lower rates. When I confronted him, he said they were lying. I feel like I was taken advantage of and totally ripped off. Possibly prejudice, but I don’t know why I was picked to be victimized when I gave him good money for months. There were spiders and bugs galore, too. Go at your own risk.
