Motel 6 Spring Hill, FL - Weeki Wachee

Chelsea made check-in easy and was so friendly and helpful. I recently posted a review on Expedia and tried to take it back, but the site wouldn't let me. This actually turned out to be a great stay, and the whole experience was really good. The hotel has a beautiful pool for relaxing and is right across from Buccaneer Bay. Definitely check it out if you need somewhere in the area.

The location is excellent, right at the intersection of 50 and 19, and directly across from the mermaids and state park. The women running the place are top-notch: kind, professional, quick to resolve any issue, and ready to help. Housekeeping definitely cut corners in the room and left some issues behind. I also didn't feel safe in the parking lot at night. They have a great selection of snacks and drinks in more modern vending machines. I wouldn't tell my enemy to bathe in that tub.

Good value for the money, with a clean, comfortable stay. The motel has come a long way from its old, basic roadside setup and is becoming a smaller, cleaner hotel. Bathrooms have heaters, connecting rooms are available, and all adults need to show ID at check-in. Savannah at the front desk is excellent.

Chelsea at the front desk was such a charm. I realized I'd booked the wrong dates when I came in to check in, and she stayed friendly and made the awkward moment easy while I got the right dates sorted. Then my card gave me trouble, but she was patient and sweet, helping me without making me feel embarrassed or put on the spot. The office area was very clean too. I hope she gets recognized for her kindness, hospitality, and customer service. The rooms were clean, with no bugs or sheet stains that I saw, and the AC vent was clean and smelled okay. I always think it's good to bring your own Febreze since so many people come and go through these rooms. The outside doesn't do the inside justice: the place is kept up well, with wonderful customer service and hospitality. I can't speak for the rest of the team, but Chelsea is lovely. My only reason for giving four stars is the price. For that cost, rooms should at least have either a microwave or a small fridge.
