Breakfast had plenty to choose from, hot waffles or cold cereal, and the coffee was excellent. I was here for a family reunion and found the hotel clean, organized, and conveniently walkable to shops and places to eat. The staff were friendly, and my room and towels were kept fresh. There’s a binder in the office with local restaurant menus and information about nearby cities. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

The room was clean and the bathroom was a decent size. The toilet needed at least two flushes, though. The one-night price was manageable, and breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but it was free.

The beds were okay, but the pillows had clearly seen too much use, and the sheets and blankets were stained and didn't feel clean. The room smelled like dog pee. The towels were thin, stained, and mismatched. I bring my own because towels in places like this can be nasty. The bathroom was old, dated, and dirty, with a nasty brownish mat in the tub and someone else's hair in the shower. The showerhead was broken, and the makeshift Sunbeam adjustable replacement didn't work properly or adjust. The toilets were so low it was hard to get up, and the rusty-looking floor seemed straight out of 1972. Service was the worst ever. For the price, this should have been the best, but it was far from it. The people here could hardly speak English.

My first stay in a suite here really impressed me for a small-town hotel. It had a huge room, with a hot tub or bathtub within cannonball distance of the bed, and the toiletries were probably the best I’ve used in a hotel. This time I got another suite of the same kind, but it wasn't as clean, and the toiletries were more like sub-motel quality, close to the Bob Barker brand. I think about half the towels were missing, and I couldn't find the remote. It got chilly at night, but I turned the heater off right after switching it on because it smelled.
