I only found out this place had been closed for about a year when I arrived. My job had booked it through a third-party site that still showed it as open. Luckily, Ron, the owner, was outside and was very kind and helpful. He can’t issue a refund and doesn’t even know where the booking money goes, so there’s no point hassling him about it. The property itself is gorgeous, and from outside the BnB looked really cozy. It’s a shame it’s closed after the owner passed away, though the new buyer might keep it as a BnB.

I drove 40 minutes to stay here after hotels, motels, and bed and breakfasts around Lake Erie were all booked, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve rarely felt this peaceful and relaxed lately. The place was beautiful, spotless, and the people were lovely. I wish I could’ve stayed for days, but real life was waiting. I’ve saved it as a favorite and would come back, and I’ll tell family visiting Lake Erie about it too.

My wife and I wanted something cozier than a big chain hotel, and this was the perfect choice. It’s beautiful, warm, and feels like home. I can’t really put into words how lovely the place is.

The view is breathtaking, and the home itself is beautiful, with life near Erie. There’s no cell service, and privacy can be an issue sometimes. Also, if being around alcoholics and the things that come with that isn’t for you, this probably isn’t the place.

We rented it for a baby shower at $140.00 for three hours, which wasn’t a bad price. The air conditioning didn’t work, though, and what to expect hadn’t been communicated clearly. There were also lots of unexpected visits from strangers.
