Hawthorn Extended Stay By Wyndham Springdale

We stayed for the weekend and got a good deal. It's right off the highway, so getting there was easy. The room was set up nicely, though the bathroom is definitely small and the water pressure is weak. The AC was on auto, and even when I turned it down, it went back to 74 degrees overnight. My key card quit working, though I knew to keep it away from my phone. The front counter was helpful and replaced it.

The whole place feels uncomfortably warm, even though the hotel seems newer. In my room, the AC kept switching itself to 84 no matter what temperature I set. That was a terrible management decision.

The staff were friendly, and our room was very clean. The bed was super comfy, and it had all the amenities we needed.

The property looked new or renovated and was in decent condition, and the rooms were clean. The hotel was decent for a one-night vacation stop, but the intersection it's on is really busy, so getting in and out can be difficult. The heater and air conditioner weren't working right in my room. The attendant went above and beyond to resolve it and moved me to another room.
