The staff were all incredibly kind, and parking was easy. Since parking in St Augustine is so expensive, having it included in the room rate is a real plus. You can walk to pretty much everything from here, and I’d absolutely choose this place for the location. The owners also do a good job making the stay feel welcoming and special. Please take my comments as observations, not a criticism of the inn. It feels like a safe area, and I don’t think the noise is unique to this property. We stayed in lapis. The bed is getting lumpy and sunken in places. I’m a sound sleeper, but I was woken a few times by loud foot traffic and people talking on Saturday night, even around 1 am. Being right on the street front, on the second floor, meant I could hear horses going down the road and late-night drinkers walking home. The historic house’s wood sash windows don’t seem to block much noise; double-pane windows could make a big difference if zoning allowed them. I’d suggest bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive to sound. The owners are thoughtful, with things like robes and drinks, and breakfast was very good.

The inn was very clean, and the common area had bottled water, cookies, coffee, and tea. We stayed two nights in the moon room. The mattress wasn’t to my liking, and the bathroom walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it was still a great inn. The location and off-street parking were excellent, and the staff were warm and excellent from check-in through breakfast.

Our first stay at Carriage Way Centennial was a wonderful visit, and we’ll definitely stay there again the next time we come to St. Augustine. The breakfast was amazing, and there were plenty of drinks and wine downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was only a few steps away. Our room was lovely and had everything we could ask for, including robes, drinks, fabulous products, lavender sachets, and aromatherapy towelettes to help us relax. The historic district was just steps away.

Fresh-baked cookies and wine were there for guests, the daily breakfasts were outstanding, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Carriage Way Centennial was an ideal base for an easy stroll into the historic old city. We were lucky to book here, and I highly recommend this B&B. Free parking is available onsite, too.

We booked the Citrine room, which was large, with a very spacious bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and had all new linens. Breakfast and the cookies were very good, too. The whole place was clean and comfortable, and the staff gave 110 percent and were always smiling. It’s a very short walk to all the attractions in St Augustine. We’ll definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it.
