Bruce made sure we had a pleasant stay at Castle Garden, from the phone reservation to seeing us off at the end. We booked at the last minute for Thanksgiving weekend, and my wife and I found the Peaches and Cream Bridal Room clean and very comfortable. When we arrived, Bruce showed us around and used his neatly prepared maps and information guides to point out places to eat and things to do. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed chatting with the other kind guests. Bruce's pancakes were exceptionally great, really, really good. It was our first time in St. Augustine. If you want everything perfect, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a genuine experience with genuine people, stay here.

Bruce, the owner, made my husband and me feel right at home for the weekend. This B&B has a lot of St. Augustine history, and we loved being able to walk everywhere from its location. We stayed in the Nautical room, where the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great both mornings: one day we had eggs, sausage, toast, and fruit, and the next was pancakes. We don't want to stay anywhere else when we return to St. Augustine. We'll be back.

The Nautical room made for a fond weekend memory, with an excellent bed and a perfect breakfast. Bruce is one of the most memorable people you'll meet, full of stories and information to help you see the town at its best. He provided anything we asked for with a smile and a story. We didn't have a single bad experience and would highly recommend staying here if you want a genuine experience.

We booked at the last minute late at night and had no trouble getting a room. Bruce was a very welcoming host, and the place was beautiful with lots of history. Our room was cute and comfortable, and Bruce made spectacular pancakes and sausage in the morning. Definitely a good place to stay.

The Peaches & Cream room was quiet and peaceful, with a very comfortable bed and pretty decor that made it easy to relax. Bruce made us feel like family. He's a delight and knows so much about the area, including what to see and how to get there. The coffee, homemade breakfast, and sausages were great. We'll stay here again when we return, as long as Bruce is still here. Thank you, Bruce!
