Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Augustine San Sebastian

The beds were soft and the rooms were okay, but our stay had too many problems for the price. We booked two rooms together weeks ahead using points and cash, yet my daughter was charged for hers. We had to sort it out the next morning, and they put us on different floors for some reason. Dogs barked for an hour near our room, which was torture. Parking wasn't free, it cost $29.00, and the staff grumbled within earshot. They stood around acting rude instead of offering to help unload, so there was no tip from me. Breakfast was gross, with fake eggs 😝. With all that, we're unlikely to stay here again.

We had a very nice, clean room, and the friendly staff looked after us well. We arrived on a last-minute trip with two small dogs and a trailer, and check-in was easy. The valet made finding a spot simple. It's right on the water, and some rooms have water views, so ask at check-in if that matters to you. The continental breakfast was fresh and good. The lobby shop has beer, wine, snacks, and other items, with beer and wine sold until midnight. The location is handy for most places you'd want to go. This will be our go-to hotel when we return to St. Augustine. We had a great stay, and Hilton loyalty points are another plus.

The rooms were pretty nice, but there were several obvious mystery stains. Service was poor too. They charged the wrong cards, required a $29 valet fee, and nobody helped bring in our bags, even though tips seemed expected. Then the staff were incredibly rude.

Michelle had everything ready for us, including a pack n play for our infant son. She was amazing. My mom and I really enjoyed the stay. The location is great, walkable without being right in the middle of the tourist crowds. 10/10 recommend!
