Inn at Camachee Harbor by Coolvacay

Room 29 was clean, spacious, and quiet, with a functional kitchenette and a comfy king bed. We had two patios, one with a wonderful view of the big bridge and the other overlooking boats in the harbor. The price was right, and it was dog friendly too. Just a quick drive to the fort and old town. We'll stay here again on our next St Augustine trip!

The construction next door was about 50ish feet away, and nobody mentioned it in the app before our stay. My deck was closest to the work area. When I brought it up, the front desk person went straight into defense mode, saying nobody else had complained, there wasn't that much noise, and it didn't block that much of the view. They did acknowledge they should be more transparent. We booked through Vrbo because the pictures looked stunning, and my family and I were excited to watch boats come and go on the harbor. But as soon as we pulled into the lot, I could see the construction. The musty smell at the front desk was overwhelming too. I have asthma and thought mold and mildew would trigger it, so I couldn't stay with both issues. I was furious and didn't even mention that the place needed a deep clean to get rid of that smell. Since I was canceling the same day, I asked only for a partial refund, not a full one. They wouldn't accommodate me.

We spent the weekend here for our 3-year anniversary, and it was amazing. Waking up to watch the sunrise over the harbor was beautiful. We loved being so close to historic downtown, the beaches, and the shops.

Room 15 was clean, and I slept well in the comfortable bed. The small patio was nice too. I loved the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, especially their amazing scent. I expected a little more after reading the reviews, though I don't know St. Augustine well.
