Oceanfront in St Aug Beach Patio BBQ Smart TVs

The hosts were really nice and accommodating, and the morning breakfasts were great. It’s only a few steps from a beautiful beach. Such a charming bed and breakfast!

The room and breakfast area were clean, roomy, and pleasant, and the staff were very helpful. The inn is owned by the hotel next door, and there’s a fun mini golf course on the other side. We stayed at the beachfront bed-and-breakfast in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida in March 2025. Our room was in the building behind the one with the breakfast area, on a side street off A1A, so the only beach view we found was through the breakfast area windows on the second floor. When we reported that the shower drain was clogged, it was fixed while we ate breakfast. Parking between two palm trees was very tight, and I’m not sure a bigger vehicle would fit well. There was no obvious faucet for rinsing sand off our feet, so we tracked some sand in. It was a little pricey, but otherwise we’d recommend this bed-and-breakfast near the beach.

It was so nice to relax after a long time without children running around and making noise, just couples enjoying the peace and quiet. We stayed in the cottage behind the beach house, and it was lovely. Mornings on the beach were a highlight, and the pool was so refreshing. There are chairs and umbrellas to take down to the beach, plus a shower and foot-washing station beside the pool so you don’t carry sand back to your room. Restaurants and coffee shops are walkable, and breakfast was amazing.

We met the owner, Lauren, and Andrea, the lovely woman working there. They were so welcoming. The pool was perfect and not crowded, and the Jacuzzi felt like it was all ours both nights. We stayed in the Sailaway cottage at the beachfront Inn for the first time, after choosing a quiet getaway in our favorite town, St.Augustine, instead of our usual downtown stay. The room was perfect, the location amazing, and breakfast was delightful and delicious. It was a peaceful, quiet, comfortable, romantic weekend, and I came home feeling refreshed. We’ve had lots of weekend trips to Saint Augustine, and this is at the top of our list. I didn’t want to leave, but real life calls. We’ll definitely return.
