We booked Unit 901 for six weeks but left after three because the townhouse had too many maintenance problems and was uncomfortable. The furniture smelled, the dishwasher and microwave were rusting, and the 1980s era dryer was rusted and seemed close to breaking down at any time. The original 40 year old patio doors wouldn't lock, so we had to use a Charley bar. It's a 15 minute walk to the beach. Management knows this condo is in poor shape but still rents it out. I seriously recommend avoiding Unit 901.

I've stayed at a lot of timeshares, and this one was the worst. The place was dirty and smelled. There were no air conditioning filters, and my partner had breathing problems. The beds and pillows felt like rocks, the thin sheets were pilling, and the old, dirty lounges were uncomfortable. The small, old TVs didn't help. The shower taps needed fixing because they wouldn't turn off. They did fix them, but then there was no cold water. They also asked for a cleaning fee after I'd booked, and said there'd be a $10 replacement fee for washers if they were dirty, even though you can buy them for a dollar. We left early because it was too unpleasant to stay. The beach was a 12 minute walk, farther than I expected. This place needs updating immediately.

The beach was amazing, even though it took a mile's walk to get there. The rental unit I had was 818, and the furniture was old. Kitchen and bathroom sink fixtures were old too, and the water pressure was very low. The beds were hard as cement. I called the office to ask about a mattress topper and was told they don't offer one. For a resort, the beds are like something from a very cheap hotel, while the prices are outrageous. Maybe I have the wrong idea of what a resort should be, but I expect it to be better than a hotel. In my opinion, this one isn't.

The only issue was that the AC struggled to keep the upstairs cool. It should have dampers to zone it, and ideally two separate systems instead of just one.

We found the place comfortable and clean, and felt safe in the gated community. It's dated, but serviceable. We swapped into it and felt the value matched what we paid. The kitchen has been updated. I can understand why it might not suit everyone, but I hope to return.
