The Cozy Inn

The rooms were quiet, very clean, and comfortable, with no parties that we saw or heard. It’s right off the main road and close to many sights, but you’ll still need to drive to quite a few since they aren’t walkable. I’d definitely stay again.

The Cozy Inn was a complete letdown. We booked two rooms, the bridal suite and room 17. The latter looked like a room from a cheap, dirty roadside motel. Both had dirty rooms and bathrooms, clothes left in drawers by previous guests, and a half-empty energy drink can in the fridge. The bath curtain rings were missing, the toilet seat was loose, there was no breakfast, and the place smelled humid. There was absolutely no service. I can’t recommend it.

The staff were really friendly and took good care of us. Our updated room was very clean, with a microwave, mini fridge with freezer, and small dining table. Being close to central St. Augustine was handy, and parking right in front of the room made unloading the car easy. We’ll stay here again next time we come down.

For our first visit to St. Augustine, the Cozy Inn turned out to be a great choice. We usually book brand-name hotels, but this last-minute trip put those a little outside our price range, so we tried somewhere outside our comfort zone. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen setup was nice. We wanted to be outside the middle of everything, and the location suited us. We could still walk to the Trolley Tours to get around during the day, and there were a few restaurants and what looked like a nice playground within walking distance. We’ll choose the Cozy Inn again next time we’re in town.
