Michael and Kim are sweet owners who'll accommodate whatever you need, and we'd definitely stay again. The Loft is a comfortable, simple place, an easy walk from everything. Restaurants and bars are even closer than the historic district, which is about a 10 minute walk away. The highlight was the king size Håstens bed, said to be one of the best in the world. The one in our room retails for $12,000. After sleeping like royalty, our lives will never be the same.

The owners are gems. They greeted us cheerfully, shared the history of the quaint building, and showed us to our room. We loved the room, and the place is within walking distance of beautiful downtown St. Augustine. Fantastic stay, and we'll definitely come back on future visits.

I'm from St.Augustine and have tried a lot of hotels and B and B's, but The Lofts is hands down the best place I've stayed. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. My upstairs room was huge and full of character, with a balcony, a clawfoot tub, a fireplace near the bed, and even a dressing room. If you want to get a feel for the character of St.Augustine, I highly suggest staying here. You won't get better accommodations for the price. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

We booked the Loft at Menorcan Square that same week for our recent arfventure in Florida. The hosts were among the most hospitable we've met anywhere in the country, and they greeted us with a tour of the palace. Our upstairs unit had a claw foot bathtub, perfect for soaking your paws after a walk around historic downtown St. Augustine. From the balcony, we could enjoy the warm, moist air around the castle and watch people pass on the main street below. The place felt elegant without being ostentatious, refined yet relaxing. We left refreshed, ready for more whimsical wags on our journey south. You might even find the fountain of Youth here.

The room was right by the gates to St George Street, which made wandering around the adorable downtown area feel especially cozy. My SO and I spent a night here, and the owners were so nice. They helped us park and gave us a short history tour of the room. I hope I can stay again soon!
