I booked through Expedia for a business trip because of the location. On arrival, they made me switch to a supposedly bigger room. It was nearly 33 degrees outside, and the heat in that room didn’t work. I went to the front desk, but there was no one in sight to help me move to a room with heat. The room was filthy. The bathroom tile was loose and could cut your feet if you went barefoot, which I wouldn’t recommend because the place was so dirty. The sheets were dirty too, and I can guarantee they don’t clean them. The hotel smelled of drugs and cigarettes. The vending machines were empty, and someone had turned the front lobby into their personal closet. There were cats inside and outside the hotel. The photos on the hotel page don’t reflect the property at all, and feel like false advertising. This place is absolutely disgusting. I contacted Expedia about a refund, but the hotel won’t answer Expedia’s calls or emails. I’m going to follow up with the BBB and the local health department to file a complaint. Removal of my review will result in legal consequences. Update: they’re not even registered with the BBB, figure.

I arrived to find four raccoons in the parking lot and cats outside the door. I already had a reservation through Priceline. A woman in a wheelchair greeted me and was nice, though I wasn’t sure what she was doing there. The man at the desk was the rudest host I’ve met. He seemed annoyed I’d booked a room, and started complaining that third-party bookings made them only $3 profit or something. I was too tired to argue, so I just asked for the keys and left it at that. He looked rough too, and I wondered why he cared if he wasn’t the owner. The place was completely SHOT. The bedsheets looked like something from a horror movie, stained red and brown. There was dust, dirt, and hair all over the mirrors. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a long time, if ever. I was so grossed out I didn’t want to take pictures or look around. I can’t believe I slept there. There was one towel in the bathroom and no shampoo or conditioner. I suspect there are bed bugs throughout the place, though I woke up without bites. I did have nightmares about them. There wasn’t breakfast, though I wouldn’t have eaten it anyway. The place felt unsafe, straight up horror movie vibes. I made it out alive, but I’ll never book the cheapest hotel room again. The room was $50 for a reason, but you couldn’t pay me $500 to stay there again. I don’t know who owns it, but you’re running the worst hotel around, or not running it at all. It’s almost comical that a place like this exists. I’d have been better off on a pizza box on the gas station concrete for the night.

My husband stayed here and there were bed bugs. I’m telling him to leave as I write this at 4:44 am. When I looked into the place, the only way I found to leave a review was through hotel apps. That makes it seem like they’re filtering reviews to scam people. To the owner, why not get rid of the animals and cats that keep these bed bugs growing and leaching? I saw you accept animals. It’s disgusting. I saw pictures of dirty sheets and dirt all around. Why not exterminate the whole place? This is about people’s HEALTH! I’ve read the reviews, and this is UNNECESSARY and UNACCEPTABLE. If my husband brings bed bugs home to our kids, I’m suing you guys.

I had enough when I plugged in the fridge and found COCKROACHES inside. I’d stepped away to get food, and when I returned I was talking to a friend on the phone and wanted to put my food away. The fridge was unplugged, so I connected it and checked whether it was cold enough. That did it for me. I left and let them keep my money, then went down the street to Americas Best Choice. That turned out to be a good place on a budget. If you’re considering booking here, please don’t. Go down the street! I love animals, so the cats around the property and cute dogs belonging to guests didn’t bother me. Lots of places are very pet-friendly. There was a woman in a wheelchair outside who seemed nice, and the desk clerk seemed nice too. But he had to check that the room was clean before I could enter, which made me wonder what I’d gotten into. The elevator smelled like, I don’t know, maybe feet. The room smelled old and icky, and reminded me of a crack hotel in Fayetteville NC. I can’t believe Choice Hotels put their letterhead on this place. Shame on them, and on Priceline for listing it too. This place needs to be torn down.

I came to work in the area and wanted to book a room for six weeks. The owner was passed out on the lobby couch, then was rude and obnoxious when I spoke with him, and wanted a $200 deposit. The place advertises an indoor pool, hot tub, and breakfast, but had none of them. Despite a fresh coat of paint, it’s old and run-down. I wouldn’t even give it one star.
