Americas Best Value Inn St. George, SC

FRESH PAINT, clean room, no weird smell, and new mattresses. For the price, this is a 10 star hotel, though obviously not actually a 5 star place. It's right off the highway, which is super convenient. We slept through breakfast, but there's a waffle house next door, and the gas station nearby is only $2.45 a gal. My girlfriend is very picky about hotels, and the friendly woman at the front desk gladly let us see the room before we paid. This is definitely my new go-to halfway stop on trips from NY/NJ to south FL. Honestly, the cleanest budget hotel I've seen, and it surprised me.

It's a place to sleep, and the rooms could use some updating, but ours was clean, which matters most to me. No bed bugs either, so we were happy to sleep there and carry on with the road trip.

St. George worked out perfectly as a place to rest on our drive from New Jersey to Boca Raton, Florida. We booked online just two hours before arriving, and it all went smoothly. Staff answered our emails quickly and helped get us the best available room. The price was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the room was clean and comfortable after a long day on the road. Breakfast had good choices, including waffles, toast, and coffee. The location is very convenient, just off I-95. Highly recommend it for anyone passing through.

The rooms were mostly clean and had no bad smells. I liked that there was no carpet. My only issue was how extremely dirty the baseboard was, and that brought down my rating. Please clean the lower part of the wall.
