I tried to book the Econo Lodge in St George Utah, which is a real travel destination people care about, but ended up tricked into booking this one instead. The booking listing obscured the location, I’m sure because they know they can profit from people like me who aren’t careful while trying to go to the other St George. It also looked like they had intentionally paid Google to put their booking first in the search results to mislead people. I called soon after booking when I noticed the location in my email, but they refused to refund me. Don’t book here. Even if you’re staying in South Carolina for some reason, don’t support scammers.

The person at check-in was polite and professional, but the room needed maintenance and cleaning. The floor and bathtub were dirty, the fridge didn’t work and its door wouldn’t shut, and the tub wouldn’t drain. The AC filter was filthy. At least the hot water had good pressure and there was plenty of it.

I came from Florida to bury my dad, and the front desk clerk was nasty and rude, with no effort to help us. We had four rooms and were treated like we thought we were staying in a five-star hotel. We paid 95 for each room. On top of everything else, there were roaches. Every hotel in St. George felt like it was from hell. I can’t imagine putting my kids through this again.

A basic hotel, but the bed was comfortable and the staff were polite. There’s a Subway and a Food Lion nearby. The pool was closed during my visit. Breakfast was a small selection of cereal, coffee, juice, a waffle maker, and mini muffins. Book through Priceline for the best rate.

We were driving from New Jersey to Florida and needed somewhere right off 95. The room was very clean and just right for a quick overnight stop. The staff were really friendly, and the small breakfast was enough.
