St. George Inn & Suites

Breakfast was decent, though limited, and ending at 9 a.m. was frustrating. It would be nice if it ran until 11, the same time as checkout. The dog-friendly room was clean, and the nice tile made any accidents easy to clean up. Both pools, indoors and out, were very nice. The indoor pool tile could use cleaning, and the outdoor hot tub jets weren't working, though the water was at least warm. A great little hotel overall.

Breakfast had a good spread: sausage and egg patties, English muffins and bread, yogurt, juice, milk, cereal including Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops, and Frosted Flakes, oatmeal, and both mini and large waffle makers. There was also a machine with hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and more. The outdoor pool was closed during our visit, but we could use the indoor one. It was shallow, just 3-5 feet, which worked well for my kids who can't swim. There was a playground too, though it was too cold for us to try it. Our family of eight shared two family rooms, each with two queen beds and a queen pullout couch mattress. They were huge and worked perfectly for us. The rooms had a mini fridge, a low-powered microwave, a deep oval tub, hair dryer, towels, mini soaps, and a large flat-screen TV with a decent number of channels, plus free Wi-Fi. It was an absolutely incredible stay.

This is a budget hotel, and the room was acceptable for the price, reasonably clean but very basic. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and the amenities were sparse, just essentials like a small bar of soap that barely lathered. The bed was average, with budget-quality sheets and a few small pillows. If you can spend a little more, you may find somewhere more comfortable.

The room had just been remodeled, so there was a faint paint smell, but it was clean and nice with new beds. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again.
