It’s a nice little place to stay and relax, though it’s quite far from most of the notable attractions. The exterior shows its age, but the amenities are nice and generally well maintained. The rooms can vary depending on who you book through, but we haven’t run into many problems.

If family hadn’t been with us, this would’ve been our worst stay away from home. We won’t return or recommend it. The resort looks old, and while it costs less than other places, there’s a reason. The rooms have dated decor, the bathrooms are very old, the sofa and loveseat are worn and seem to dictate how you can sit, and the beds were the worst. We didn’t swim because there were roaches by the pool, including what looked like a whole group of them hanging around. That was the only place we saw them. We had to call to get the door code reset. There was green mold on the siding, parking was awful, and sounds carried through the walls and ceiling. Couples should be aware it’s a family resort. The speed bumps, or hills, felt like they could take the suspension off your car. There’s plenty more I could list.
I booked during the off season because some pools were supposed to be open, but the condition of the buildings and facilities was disappointing. The exterior walls and floors had many cracks covered with cheap-looking patches. The clubhouse hours were very limited, and the gym equipment was extremely outdated. The hot tub had so many chemicals that everyone’s eyes burned when the jets were on, so we had to turn it off each day during our week there. The slides had no water running in the off season, even though the pool was open, which disappointed the kids. Staff said other outdoor pools around the property were open, but they were locked all day and night.
We stayed in one of the units in October and thought the complex was great. Walking around the resort felt safe, and we enjoyed using many of the amenities.
The pools and water slides are the best part. On this third visit, we spent so much time in the water we could’ve grown webs and gills. The location is handy, about 10-15 minutes from just about anything we might need. The one drawback is that dogs aren’t allowed, though that can be worked around with some planning.
