Spanish Villa Inn

Dr. Roy was easy to reach and helped us feel at ease. We loved how peaceful it was at Spanish Villa Inn, and the location put us close to good restaurants and wineries. Just the break from city life we needed.

We chose this place because it is near Adventist Health hospital, and that was its one redeeming feature. Even so, the lack of the basics made even a very budget hotel seem like a better choice. This isn't a B and B: there is no breakfast or any service. Booking questions lead to a website that seems not to have been relevant for years. The owner manager often brings up the artesian well, but without any facilities for getting drinking water, I don't see why it should matter. At best, this felt like an aging vacation room rental.

We booked the Spanish Villa Inn because it was the only reasonably priced place we could find for Labor Day weekend, and the room turned out to be large, with a patio and a really comfortable bed. The website didn't show how nice the property was, so arriving was a pleasant surprise. We'd recommend staying here. They should update the site and add photos that reflect the place better.

The rate seemed reasonable for the area, and the inn was peaceful and quiet. Our room was clean and nice, with a very comfortable bed. We stayed one night for a concert at the Krug Winery. The manager left a note telling us our assigned room, and we didn't see anyone at the inn until we were leaving. Since there isn't coffee in the common area, having a Keurig in the room would be great.
