TownePlace Suites by Marriott -Minneapolis West/StLouis Park

The location is convenient, close to restaurants and other hotels. The rooms are quite dated and need repairs or touch-ups. The AC and heat unit only blew room-temperature air, no matter which setting I chose. The gym is small and tucked away.

It's handy being so close to a Costco and other restaurants. My room seemed a bit outdated, but had what I needed. The kitchen sink wouldn't drain properly, and there was free breakfast.

I travel weekly for business, and this was my first stay here. The front desk was busy, but the service was great. The rooms were horrible. I had to switch because the carpet in the first room was soaking wet, enough that I almost slipped even with tennis shoes on. The second room was a two-room suite, but it was musty and hot, the AC took a long time to work, and the beds weren't comfortable. They need to sell this place or update it.

They serve spoiled milk and pork kept in the temperature danger zone. I'm confident the staff who handle the food haven't been trained in any sanitation standards. If you're stuck at this hotel, don't eat the food and put yourself at risk.
