The staff are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the fitness center is better than most. The location is a big plus too, with pretty much anywhere you might want to go within 15 minutes. Parking costs extra, though, and there’s no free breakfast or coffee, so it depends on what matters to you.

I was here for four nights on a business trip. The rate was good, but I regretted booking and wouldn’t stay again. Breakfast wasn’t included, despite the room fee saying it came with breakfast. Parking overnight cost $18, which seemed excessive for a suburban area, and the AC was loud. The bistro was pricey too: a regular breakfast came to about $30, including a $5 tip, and felt worth only half that.

The renovated room was nice, and the front desk responded quickly, though the renovation meant the pool was removed. My Yeti cup, with my road beverages, was left in the room when I checked out. I called to have it shipped back, but the managers said housekeeping hadn’t found it. I know I left it there, so I can only conclude that housekeeping didn’t follow Marriott’s lost and found policy. It may have been stolen or thrown away.

We stayed here while a family member was receiving treatment at Barnes Jewish Hospital, so it was expensive for us. Still, it was a very nice place to stay.

The staff made me feel welcome from the start, and were friendly and accommodating. The hotel isn’t fancy, but it’s well equipped, especially the large fitness room. I chose it because of its high rating on the Marriott site. Best of all, after my son and I accidentally left our wallets in the room after checking out, the staff found both and kept them safe until we could pick them up. I’d recommend it, it was an excellent experience.
