We had a good base for getting around the city, and being able to walk across the street to Union Station was a bonus. The kids enjoyed the pool, and there was something at dinner for everyone in the family. Breakfast offered a generous selection and was better than dinner, but dinner was still fine. The drink tickets each night were a nice touch. I hadn't realized the hotel was under renovation when I booked, so I was a little concerned at first, but it didn't get in the way much. The staff, including the renovation contractors, were extremely friendly and kind. The room felt clean and was adequate for the price. We'll definitely stay again when we return to St Louis.

Parking was especially frustrating. We paid $44 and only found out after talking with another guest that they had been offered parking for $19. No one explained the parking process or price at check-in. We also paid for an upper-level room but ended up on the 4th floor without an explanation, and weren't told there was a pool until we stumbled on it the morning we left. Before arrival, nobody mentioned the active construction either, even though guests should be able to know that before deciding to check in. The evening Kickback and breakfast were far below what we've had at other Drury locations: very limited choices, late breakfast, and paper plates. I emailed management with all these concerns and got no reply, so I'm posting this publicly. We chose the hotel for Drury's reputation for quality and service, but the communication, inconsistent parking prices, and overall experience were extremely disappointing. The lack of response afterward made the frustration worse. I hope this location improves its communication and guest experience.

The location is great, within walking distance of the Arch and the ballpark, and the breakfast was fantastic. I'd never seen a soda machine offered at breakfast before, but it was awesome. Every worker was professional and ready to help however they could, making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Spectacular customer service. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in St. Louis.

It's convenient being next door to union station, and the hotel is very well maintained with polite, welcoming staff. The indoor pool and common area can get humid, but the room air conditioning works very well. Look for a good rate on secondary websites. 👍

This is a clean hotel in a perfect spot, close to all sorts of things to do, and a great value for the money. Breakfast was full, and dinner was nearly a full meal even though they call it snacks, plus free drinks. A big shout-out to the maintenance guy who helped me with my car. The staff really care.
