Cobblestone Inn & Suites – St. Mary's

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location works great for the company I needed to visit. Dean is personable, remembers your name, and makes you feel welcome. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We were shocked by the $390 charge for one night in a queen room. We had booked through Expedia for a king room, but only realized at the hotel that my husband had accidentally booked for the same day in 2026. The front desk guy, apparently the manager, offered us a queen since no king rooms were available. There were only two cars in the lot, so it didn’t look full. I asked what the queen would cost, and he said the same as Expedia. Instead, we were charged $150 more than the Expedia price for a king. We felt ripped off. It was a horrible experience.

There’s a nice little walking trail just outside the hotel. The staff take a lot of pride in keeping everything neat and clean, inside and out. Each evening my room was spotless, with the bed neatly made for my return.

The only thing I disliked was the pillows, which felt very hard and uncomfortable. Still, that wouldn’t stop me from coming back to the area. The Cobblestone is a nice, new hotel and very convenient for getting around St Marys. The staff were great, the rooms were nice, breakfast had a good range of options, and coffee was available around the clock in the lobby.
