Carlton House Motel

Martin and Betty made us feel like family at the Carlton House Motel, and the personal attention is what made the stay stand out. Betty remembered our names and had fresh coffee ready in the mornings. When we mentioned a small problem with the TV remote, Martin fixed it that same day. They’re hands-on, proud of the place, and happy to share suggestions for local restaurants and beach spots. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed. The bed was surprisingly good, the AC worked perfectly, and the white sands of St. Pete Beach are just steps away. It’s a clean, affordable family-run motel, so you get a welcoming stay without resort prices. We’ll be back on our next Florida trip. Highly recommend!

The owners, Martin & Betty, really care about their guests and work hard to make the stay a good one. We loved the clean, nice rooms and the relaxing atmosphere around the property. The beach is only seconds away, and there’s a nice pool right outside the door. There’s also plenty of entertainment nearby, so you get a quiet place to stay with lots to do around you. We love it here and highly recommend it.

Betty and Martin give this family-run place a really warm, welcoming feel. They’re always helpful with recommendations and little thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. The rooms were clean, the service was good, and the location was easy to get around from. The beach is a short walk away, and there’s a cozy Italian coffee shop down the block. I had a comfortable, enjoyable stay and would recommend Carlton House Apartment Motel to anyone visiting the area.

The room was spacious and clean, and you’re very close to the beach. My experience with the front desk was less welcoming, though, and I had to ask for towels every day. I’m not demanding much, but towels and washcloths should be provided daily without needing to request them.
