Steps to St. Pete Beach: Condo w/ Pool!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and we had a great stay in the three-bedroom suite for a bachelorette party. It was very spacious. The kitchen had basic cookware, including a couple of bowls, plates, forks, knives, a spoon, and a spatula.

The beach is only steps away, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We found the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming, which made the stay feel easy. We had a wonderful time at St. Pete Beach Suites and would definitely stay there again.

We loved how easy it was to walk to the beach, and the beach toys, chairs, and wagon were great to have. But after six nights with our family of five, we had a lot of concerns about the property and communication. Our shower never got hot, even after running it for ten minutes, and the kitchen sink drained very slowly. On checkout day, we received notice that maintenance would be done on the hot water in our room and others. The heated pool also wasn’t warm. We told customer service and the pool maintenance man, who said it was warming up, but it never improved. Hedges around the pool, including some about 12 feet from our window, were removed with a loud saw. I understand that may have been an improvement, but our room was closest to the work, even though other rooms seemed vacant. We had trouble getting basic information at check-in and had to ask how to find and use the amenities. The electronic information from the virtual host was sparse and sometimes inaccurate. Our confirmation said housekeeping was daily and that we could contact them to opt out. Four days into the stay, when we asked for towels, soap, and toilet paper, we learned we had to request housekeeping. When staff came, they left supplies and towels but did no actual cleaning. The location was enjoyable, but the building basics and communication need work. I also want to add that the owner reached out afterward to address our concerns and frustrations. I appreciate the effort to improve things at St. Pete Beach Suites.
