Quiet, nice rooms, and good value. They were recently remodeled, and I’ve stayed here twice. Great location too, highly recommend. No tiki bar yet...

We finally made it to this gorgeous cottage-style hotel. The heated pool was a bonus on the cooler days, and the beach access is just a short walk from your room. We’ll be back soon!

It’s a cheerful, inexpensive little spot right on the beach, with a quaint 50s retro feel. The rooms are very small, though the plush towels and nice bedding help make up for that. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and the entrance to the rear parking area is very narrow.

We spent half the day on the sand and the other half in the heated pool, which was great for the kids in the cold. The ocean was too cold to swim that day. The beach has lovely white sand, sea oats and plants, and lots of shells, from little conchs to large brown ones. It’s reached directly from the property down a short set of wooden stairs with a railing, though there’s no ramp. There are a few beach chairs and boogie boards, plus an outdoor shower and foot wash. The pool was heated to around 80-90°F, with tube floats, noodles, and reclining chairs. It’s open from sunrise to sunset, has no lifeguard, and children under 14 need an adult supervising them. Outside the suite there’s a well-lit, intimate space with clotheslines and pins between buildings, a chair for each apartment, outdoor seating, hammocks, and Adirondack chairs on the seawall facing the sunset. There’s also a covered ping pong area, porch swing, and a storage box with badminton rackets, volleyball gear, and ping pong paddles and balls. A volleyball net sits on the beach in front of the seawall. Our two-bedroom suite had everything we needed. The kitchen had a full fridge and freezer with a full ice tray, coffee maker, coffee, cream and sugar, paper towels, dish soap, sponge, towels and cloths, knives, a small cutting board, ice bucket, toaster, pots, pans, serving spoon, spatula, dishes, glasses, silverware for four, and a broom and dustpan. In the living room were a queen pullout sofa, round table with four chairs, big TV, and armchair. Both bedrooms had a bathroom. The large bedroom had a high queen bed with clean bedding and four pillows, an alarm clock with USB-A and USB-C ports, room beside the bed, a large closet, hangers, and a folding luggage stand. The smaller bedroom was similar but had a king bed. Its only outlets were at the head and foot of the bed, so I had to move the mattress to plug in my CPAP machine. The walkway around that bed was narrow for reaching the bed, closet, and bathroom, and the closet was small to medium-sized with the same accessories. The bathrooms were tiny, with standard short toilets, small tiled showers, and no fancy extras. Each had a hairdryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus a large mirror over the sink. There were beautifully arranged beach, bath, hand, and washcloth towels for four people. Each room had a smart cable TV. They weren't properly connected to the staff wireless network, so every 24 hours we had to open the browser app and accept the internet terms to use streaming apps. The TVs weren't in hotel mode, so we needed to log out of any apps we signed into. The suite was perfect for our family beach weekend, with everything we needed in an intimate space. The staff were friendly, informative, and accommodating. Thank you for an amazing stay 💛🏖️

Beach Haven feels like a mix between a standard hotel and an Airbnb. Our room was small, but the sleeping room was separate from a little living area and kitchenette. The price was decent, and it’s a wonderful place to stay.
