Days Inn by Wyndham St. Petersburg / Tampa Bay Area

The room was very clean, and prices are the lowest in the area. I recommend staying here over other places nearby. At the Days Inn in St. Petersburg, Florida, Tylor was polite and went out of his way to sort out my reservation even though the hotel seemed fully booked. He handled it really well while calmly answering the phone, reassuring other guests even without speaking to them directly that their problems would be taken care of. I felt relaxed and comfortable with him.

Taylor, the assistant manager, was great. Unfortunately, that was the only good part. The motel smelled like urine outside, the bathroom wall had holes, and the room smelled of cigarettes and weed. We saw what looked like a drug deal involving people sitting on the floor outside the rooms, and there was razor wire on the fence. We stayed about ten minutes, then left. I didn’t want my wife or service animal there. Sorry for the bad review.

The room was clean, and maintenance fixed the shower so I could use it in the morning. Before that, there was no shower faucet, just a pipe sticking out of the wall. The TV didn’t work, there was no garbage can, and the toilet tank had no lid. I can’t wait to leave. The place has a bad feeling, and I’m alone and don’t want to be here. I wouldn’t bring my kids or anyone. I just don’t feel safe.

The pool is great, and there’s plenty of space for the kids to play. My kids had a ball with all the other children, and the rooms are nice. We’ve been here since the hurricane and looked up this hotel. The staff are very friendly, and they spent Christmas with us and made it joyful. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but the GM came around giving gifts to all the kids. My son and daughter were so happy. They’re still renovating while running the hotel, and Dolly was a huge help whenever I needed anything.
