Moxy St. Petersburg Downtown

Caroline at the rooftop bar was so kind and made us fantastic drinks while we hung out by the pool. The rooftop bar and pool were a great amenity. We love Moxy Hotels, so when we heard there was one in St. Petersburg, we had to try it. From walking in to check in, we felt very welcome, and Charlie at the front desk was incredibly nice and generous. It was a fantastic stay, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms could use more space for spreading out your things, and a proper closet would help, though the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat, with an eclectic, welcoming feel right from the entrance. Caroline was a standout: we met her first at the pool bar and later at the lobby bar, and she was lovely both times. Always smiling and full of positive energy, she made us feel cared for and welcome. You can tell she enjoys her work. Meeting her lifted the whole stay, and we’ll be back hoping she’s behind the bar again.

Sam, Hannah, and Angie were fantastic, and their service is a big reason we’d gladly return. The hotel is right in downtown St. Pete, and it feels like a destination in its own right, especially with the rooftop pool and bar. Rose’s coffee shop was handy and made for a great start to the day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and above average.

After a problem at another hotel, Moxy was accommodating and turned things around for us. Caroline’s smile and enthusiasm stood out when we walked onto the penthouse pool deck. She brought people together, and I watched strangers start talking and become friends. People like her make you want to stay and come back. I’m grateful for the experience and for the sweet people there.
