Quality Inn & Suites at Tropicana Field

The property itself isn't bad, which makes the way we were treated such a shame. The day staff were nice, but management, especially the owner, was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout our stay after making a $3,000 mistake with our travel group. A male night manager was rude and racist. He repeatedly harassed me about my registered service animal and threatened to call the police. I would never stay here again.

The updates around the property look amazing, and it seemed better than it used to. My room was neat and smelled really nice, thanks to Jaylynn, the housekeeper. She even walked me to my room when she was about to clock out. The next day I asked her about room service, and she explained what to do. She cleaned my room the following day and did a great job. Thanks to Jaylynn and the quality staff for a great stay.

The location is nice, and the AC worked okay, but I wouldn't choose this hotel again. We were charged a $100 fee as soon as we arrived, and the beds are hard. The pool hasn't opened at all during our stay. Breakfast is limited to things like waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, and cereal, and the milk tasted off. The elevator feels scary and kind of dangerous. The room was so-so, and the bathtub is questionable. They also tried to charge for "free wifi." The staff are...interesting. Don't get the walking tacos unless all you want is overpriced nachos with just cheese.

At least we only had to spend one night here. In the first room, the fridge didn't work and there was a mildew smell, so we asked to move. The second room was worse: mold throughout the bathroom, a tub that needs cleaning or resurfacing, rock-hard beds, and German roaches. We killed at least two. I couldn't have stayed two nights in a row. Never again.
