After five weeks on the road, I finally found the most comfortable bed of the trip here. The room was small and quaint, but spotless, and the staff were friendly. It’s pet friendly too. You can hear some traffic from the nearby highway, though I slept well regardless.

The vintage feel made this place cozy, and it had all the basics covered, from kitchen gear and an oven to toiletries, a TV, fridge, shower, and a comfy bed. Everything was very clean, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It felt like a home away from home, and I’d happily stay again.

I spent five days at Super 8 before coming to Little River, and I wish I’d found this place first. It’s peaceful and half the price. Linda, the owner and caretaker, is a sweetheart, very professional, and clearly runs a beautiful, successful business. I had a relaxing, enjoyable overnight stay and would choose it over Super 8 up the road any day. I was lucky to get the last cabin, so book well ahead. The secret is out. Thanks, Linda, for sharing your property with us.

I’d booked another motel for my drive from Washington State to a hunting trip in Glasgow Montana, splitting the journey into two days of about 9 hours each. For some reason they hadn’t secured my reservation, so I had to find somewhere on the spur of the moment. The owner at Little River Motel in St. Regis Montana was friendly and helpful, and the small cabin had the comforts I needed, including a TV, wifi, microwave, and heat. I liked it enough to book another cabin for the drive home, and I’d stay there again.

The restroom was extremely small, but the room itself was clean and quiet. It was super cheap, and the staff were great and friendly. I’d definitely come back.
