Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse

Everyone was warm and welcoming, and every room has its own style while still being comfortable and delightful. It's a quiet, convenient spot across from the beach and lighthouse, just a pretty, walkable block from the center of the Pier Village. Call direct if you need help arranging your stay. This place is a real gem on St Simons Island, and could be your new getaway.

The rooms belong to different owners who decorate them, and evidently standards aren't very high. Mine was filthy and moldy, with nothing updated, and I wouldn't suggest room 200 to anyone with asthma, allergies, or breathing issues. Parking was tight, breakfast had few healthy choices, and there were lots of cigarette butts and trash outside the open, one level parking deck. I was highly disappointed and won't return. I seldom review a place unless it's excellent, but I wanted people to know this stay made my visit to SSI far less enjoyable.

The room had character and didn't feel like a typical motel. Staff were friendly, and the coffee machine was great. We could walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, and made great family memories. It felt like staying with family. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family. A hidden gem!

The rooms being different from each other was the most fun and refreshing part of our stay. We loved the trip, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The manager was amazing, made us feel welcome, and asked for feedback to make things better. We met our mom there since the easy drive and nearby restaurants and pier worked for her. She can't travel far and loves the ocean. We could walk to shops, a public beach, and restaurants, and felt safe doing so. We can't wait to visit again soon.
