I stayed four days while in town for my brother-in-law’s funeral, and was very disappointed by the housekeeping. The bed was made only once, after I asked twice, and I had to go to the desk myself to get clean towels. I raised the issue on the first night, but it wasn’t addressed. I saw five different staff members; most made me feel like I was interrupting when I asked something. Diamond and the manager were nice when I explained the problem, but the manager was only there Friday night, after I’d already been there three days.

It’s a phenomenal hotel, but be prepared to wait when leaving by car. It sits at a busy intersection, so getting out takes patience. Just a heads up.

This is my usual hotel in Starkville. The rooms are clean and well stocked, and the complimentary breakfast has a good selection with fresh food that’s kept replenished. It’s pet friendly, too.

So far it’s been clean and quiet. The TV is on, so I can’t tell yet how much road noise there is. The TV’s a nice size, the couch is comfy, and the bed looks like it’ll be good.

The front desk guy was so rude when there was a booking mistake. He laughed right in our faces and made smart comments to us. The service was horrible. I definitely don’t recommend going there.
