The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made the stay smooth from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and had incredible views. Harrah’s Lake Tahoe has a great atmosphere and a nice mix of luxury, entertainment, and beautiful surroundings. We also enjoyed the casino and restaurants. It was a wonderful stay, one of the best places around Lake Tahoe for both relaxing and having fun. Highly recommended.

This town is beautiful, and staying here makes me feel at home. The service has been wonderful, there are lots of playing options and plenty of table games, and I like the Vertual/AI games. Dining has been a great experience all around too. I'm really enjoying my stay and looking forward to the rest of the trip and more fun here in the future. Thx!!

The location is about as good as it gets if you're skiing, but I'm not planning to return otherwise. The bedroom insulation is poor, with loud music from other rooms going past 1AM. Half the elevators seemed out, so we had to walk farther to another group. The shower was clogged, and maintenance took a couple of hours to fix it. I didn't even know they were coming because I couldn't reach the front desk by phone. The valet brought my car out and walked away with the door open and engine running. They didn't check for the ticket holder or confirm the right person took the car. It seemed especially odd while things were busy. Another vehicle blocked my view, so I couldn't see my car or who had parked it. There's a tray of snacks within a kid's reach that charges automatically for anything moved. Pick something up and put it back, and you've paid for it. Unplug the machine to move it out of reach, and it's a $50 charge. Even the bakery felt awkward. I paid for a croissant and waited while the cashier just stood there. If I'm not waiting for coffee, why should I go stand aside for something already made? Just put it in a bag and hand it over.

We booked the Executive suite with two queen beds and two full bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a tub. It also had a mini fridge, safe, bar and vanity area, and a big couch. There were no outlets in the bathroom, so I used the bar area to plug in my flat iron. The beds were uncomfortable and sank in the middle. I slept right on the edge, but my body still slid toward the center. Parking is $30 a night, free for Diamond status and above. There are two ticket machines by the stairs, or you can pay at the gate when leaving. It's better to do it beforehand in case your card needs help. The location is central and everything is within walking distance. CVS is right outside on the main street for water or anything you forgot. There's a Starbucks downstairs in the lobby, or Noel’s outside next to CVS. You can get to Ceasar Republic through the underground connection and casino hop easily. The casino is small and dated, and cigarette smell circulates through the air. I wore a mask, but the smoke was really strong.

The one person who was actually empathetic and helpful was Danny, who checked me in across the street. Shout out to Danny for being great. The rest of the experience was shocking, and with so many nearby hotels, I don't recommend spending money here. I had reserved a room months ahead and paid a deposit because it met my needs. When I arrived, I learned the reservation had been moved to the hotel across the street because of construction. No one had notified me by email. Earlier that day an unknown number called but left no voicemail. When I returned the call, I reached a Ceasers call center. They transferred me to the front desk, where the phone rang about 20 times before they hung up, so I assumed it wasn't important. I told the front desk that moving us was highly inconvenient and unsatisfactory. They said I could speak with the Harrah's manager. She was completely unprofessional and essentially told me I could accept the change or find another hotel at 7 pm on a Saturday. My husband had unloaded all our bags onto a cart in the rain while I checked in. I had to go back outside, reload everything, and drive across the street, where we couldn't even park our van. The hotel failed to honor a reservation I'd made and paid a deposit for months earlier, then gave me such poor service.
