The location is beautiful and the front desk people were very nice. We had covered parking, which was good to have, though it was extremely tight and open at one end, so it wasn’t warm. The living area had nice space, the master shower was pretty, and some appliances had been replaced. I couldn’t figure out the microwave. There were a lot of problems. The floors were really filthy, and my socks were almost black after the first night. The furniture and cabinetry were dated. Towels had been left in the washer and dryer in large loads, wet in one and dry in the other. The under-cabinet lights were sticky and didn’t work; they came to fix or replace them, but some burned out again or stayed very dim. The living room TV didn’t work, and it took one or two visits before they understood it still needed fixing. The master bedroom headboard may have been broken. Our unit faced a busy road intersection, so it was noisy, though I was glad the snow plows were working hard. We could hear the upstairs neighbors late at night and early in the morning, as if they were elephants, even though they weren’t large people. They really need rugs up there. A bigger rug by the front door is needed too, since it was hard to come in with boots without making a mess. The blinds in our main-floor unit had apparently been a mess and needed fixing or replacing before we arrived; my roommates got that done. Covered parking was nice, but it was extremely tight and open at the end, so it wasn’t warm.

After skiing, this condo was really uncomfortable, especially for the amount we paid. The pull-out slanted so much that getting comfortable was impossible, and we had to buy a 2-inch mattress topper and a blanket for it. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. I covered the loveseat with a blanket because it felt scratchy and I was worried about bugs. A lot of things didn’t work or were in poor shape: the toaster was broken, some outlets didn’t work, the fireplace in the living room wouldn’t turn on, and the downstairs ice maker was out. The mattresses were hard, you could feel the springs in the bunk, the bedding was old, and the blinds were broken. The pots and pans had scratched Teflon.

We had a wonderful time at this clean, private riverfront cabin. It was well equipped and had a fantastic deck for barbecuing, with spectacular views.

We didn’t have a car, and getting around was easy since the shuttles were reliable and usually arrived within 15 minutes of a call. It was only a two-minute walk to the slopes, with a short run from there to the gondola. The unit was close to the hot tub, and towels were provided. La casa 11 worked perfectly for our group of four adults and two kids. The staff were friendly and accommodating, check-in was a breeze, and the unit was clean and well equipped. We had a late flight home and could leave our bags at the lodge until the airport shuttle picked us up. I’d definitely stay here again.

It’s a pretty nice place, and the free shuttle is a great perk. The hot tub was just okay. The unit had a good-sized kitchen with a couple of pots and pans, so bring anything else you’ll need if you plan to cook.
