We’d stayed here before, and even though we knew the room was old, it had at least been clean. This time room #120 smelled a little when we checked in, though we didn’t think much of it until the next morning. While people upstairs were showering, water dripped through the ceiling and splashed onto the nightstand and a little onto the bed. We saw a water mark on the nightstand, so this didn’t seem new. At the front desk, they knew which room we meant and said they’d fixed it, but apparently it happened again. They gave us roughly $60 back for one night, but I think we should have received a full refund. The room smells because shower water, and perhaps pee, leaks through the ceiling. We won’t stay there again.

We stay here all the time and it’s hard to beat. The location and parking are great, and it’s incredible value. The coffee is fresh, local, and tasty; the amenities are great too. Staff are friendly and quick to respond. It’s dog friendly, with treats at the front desk.

A good place for a couple of nights. The front desk service was excellent, and our room was clean with really comfortable beds. It got a bit loud at night, but we’ll definitely come back for another night or two.

I arrived pretty discombobulated, and Justin was a big help. We got a warm welcome. The beds were comfortable, and the room was relaxing, clean, and updated. Great water pressure, and the hot tub was exactly what we needed. I’d definitely recommend the Nordic lodge.

The front desk people were really nice and helped us a lot. The rooms are okay and the price is decent. There’s a hot tub, and it’s really nice, though you have to walk across the parking lot to get there, so bring a towel. The free mountain bus shuttle Taos is right out front, with an easy 20-30 minute ride to the ski go gondola. We’ll come back.
