The best thing here is how close it gets you to ski in, ski out without actually being ski in, ski out, and without that kind of price. You cross the street to ski, walk a short way downhill to the base, and there’s also a grocery store a short walk downhill. The condo location is spectacular for the price. I’ve stayed in eight or ten different places around Steamboat and have returned here multiple times. Units are individually owned, so they get renovated and improved at different rates, but the place has the feel you’d expect in a cowboy ski town. There’s a shuttle downtown too, so you don’t need a car, especially during ski season. I’d absolutely stay again.

The location was amazing, and for the price this is definitely worth it compared with the high end condos being built around the area. Since each condo is individually owned, I can’t generalize about all of them. My family has been coming to steamboat for a while, in both winter and summer, and we’ve tried numerous places. We’ll stay here again.

The customer service was absolutely atrocious. We had more cars than would fit in the garage, and the front desk guy told us to leave the extra ones in a lot where they were eventually towed. When we asked them to cover the towing costs, they first said yes and then dragged their feet. After nearly two months of back and forth, they reimbursed us for only one car. Then they stopped responding to my calls and texts, avoiding any further accountability. We lost hundreds of dollars because we trusted what they told us. I know not to return. Avoid this place if you want somewhere that cares about you and your stay.

Two cars in our group were towed from Walmart after Josh at the Phoenix front desk told us we could park there because the small lot was full. The tow fees came to $468, and we would have paid to park somewhere else if he hadn’t directed us there. We did use paid parking on the following nights. For two months, Phoenix has disputed reimbursing us and has returned only half the cost. Now they’ve stopped replying to us. I’m extremely disappointed with the management. Please stay elsewhere.

We had 14 people spread across two condos, units 206 and 210. The location made getting to the ski base an easy walk, and the complimentary Vacasa shuttle was great for our group. The pool and hot tub were a hit, and having a garage was handy. The units could use updates, but they had everything we needed. I’d definitely stay again.
