We found Cheerios and a q-tip in the bunk bed frames, and the beds were uncomfortable. I could still sleep, though. Being so close to the mountain made it worth it.

We spent five days at Storm Meadows, and it was easily our worst lodging experience. The internet kept cutting out, the front desk service was awful, and check-in was chaotic. We'd arranged an airport shuttle and were told they'd have our check-in ready so the driver wouldn't have to wait to take us to the building, but it wasn't ready. Checkout is at 10am, while our shuttle pickup was arranged for 11, a normal checkout time. Since our building had no lobby, they expected us to wait outside in the parking lot for an hour with all our bags and gear. The condo itself was rough: the toilet wouldn't flush fully, and the thermostat didn't control the temperature, so we roasted every night. We knew we'd booked an outdated condo, which is usually fine for us on ski trips, and we don't need anything fancy. But on two nights in a row, tractors scraped snow from a handful of parking spaces right outside the condos from 11pm until 5am. We understand the work has to be done, but why then? Several guests complained, and staff said they'd send security to assess it. They also told us they get lots of complaints about it. We wish we'd known before booking. People pay thousands of dollars to stay here in peak season and can't actually sleep. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

The mountain views are amazing, and some units have fireplaces. It feels more ski-in, ski-out than snowboard-in, snowboard-out. The free shuttle was handy and took us wherever we wanted to go, except when it was doing its loop to the gondola.

The setting at Meadows at Christie Base was beautiful, with great views of the ski resort and a lot to do nearby. On site, there's a pool that goes to 4 feet, a workout area, hot tub, and a very nice tennis court. The location is great for restaurants and activities too, including lazy river tubing, mini golf, the alpine slide, and lots of beautiful trails.

The room was decent, but the hot tub was cold on one day and locked two hours before its posted closing time on another night.
