The view was the highlight of our first stay here. Getting to Gondola Square was the problem: you can't walk there, and the shuttle only comes twice an hour, so time gets eaten up waiting. There's a private shuttle you can order from 5 to 10 pm. You can reach the slopes from Storm Meadows Club A and ski back, though I found it a bit of a hike. This doesn't feel like true ski-in/ski-out to me. My family and I will stay at Christie's next year, like we did the year before.

We had a great time here. The fireplace was beautiful, the hosts were amazing, and being able to ski in and out was great. There are some good restaurants about 10 minutes away. One thing to keep in mind is the steep drive up to the condo. Our rental car was rear-wheel drive and struggled on the incline.

Storm Meadows can work out really well, but I’d do plenty of homework before booking. Ask the rental agency for details specific to the unit: the view, floor plan, ski routes, and whether they provide daytime transportation or use Storm Mtn Express, which comes less often and takes longer. You can sometimes find videos of the ski routes for individual buildings on YouTube. Also check the hot tub situation. At Club C, one tub serves more than three buildings, and it wasn’t working when I was there. I've stayed in two buildings, through two different rental groups, and the experience varied. In Storm Meadows East, I could ski right off the balcony and get back inside about 20 steps from my front door. Club C was more awkward, with more poling and a route that could be tricky for beginners. Our Club C unit also faced away from the mountain, which felt a bit dreary. Neither condo, one rented through Retreatia and one through Mountain Resorts, was anything special, but both were clean and had the basics. Service from Retreatia was much better for me. The complex has everything from one-bedroom condos to townhomes, and the rental agency makes a difference.

The apartments were clean, tidy, and had what we needed, but getting to the village meant taking a shuttle or driving. The ski trails were very narrow and went uphill, so you have to pole or skate to reach a run. With my shoulder injury, I couldn't manage that, and I wouldn't have booked if I'd known. The management company's sales approach also wasn't very upfront.

The views were great, and C317 felt clean and homey. The online photos matched the room exactly. The beds weren't comfortable, though that's something they can change and it wouldn't put me off staying there.
