Terraces S22

We came from Colorado looking for a cozy, comfortable place for a family getaway, and this worked out great. The kids spent plenty of time in the pool, and I especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was the hottest part of summer, so we really appreciated having fans.

Everything in our room worked, and it was clean and comfortable. The pool and the hot tub beside it were great, even though there’s no cover when it’s snowing hard. Wild Plum for groceries and the gondola base are only a very short walk away. My one letdown was the free shuttle: it goes to the transit center, but won’t take you into town like most shuttles do. Still, we had a great stay.

You can walk to the main Steamboat square in about ten minutes, or take a shuttle, so the location worked well. Our unit was nicely appointed with a great mountain view. Parking includes one underground spot per unit, with overflow parking outside. The pool and hot tub are older, though well maintained. The public areas could use some work, and it looks like they’re starting to address that.

Driveway construction blocks access to the garage, and parking is limited. The construction workers have taken up the available spots.
