The condo kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the amenities were clean and well maintained. It’s a nice ski condo near Steamboat ski resort, and I’d use Retreatia again. The shuttle to the slopes was frequent and convenient. The condo itself could have been cleaner. The floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped, and while hunting for a missing TV remote, I found it under the sleeper sofa along with a couch cushion.

The free shuttle to and from the ski resort was fantastic, and we used it a lot. The heated pool and three hot tubs were clean, well maintained, and really nice. Three adults and two kids were comfortable in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo. Everything worked, and the place was very clean and well cared for. We loved our stay.

The patio view was spectacular, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Timber Run 404 was clean and updated, and the place felt like a great value. There’s a heated pool open year-round, three hot tubs, and even a sauna to warm up and dry off. The resort is close enough to walk to the main ski area. Steamboat’s free bus stops just outside, and in winter there’s also a free ski shuttle from the center to the resort. We’ll definitely be back.

My daughter woke up with bed bugs crawling on her, and it left her traumatized. Our unit, #107 at Timber Run, was infested. We booked through VRBO, and at first they would refund only the nights we didn’t use. This was the worst travel experience of my life. I wouldn’t stay anywhere on this property. Bed bugs can spread everywhere, and the whole place is probably contaminated. Update, 5:20 on 7/31: I was told I’d get a full refund, at least. Brittany was very helpful, but the people at VRBO were awful. Update on 8/9: Mountain Vacation Lodging is now giving us the runaround. It’s unclear whether we’ll get a refund, and I may also be stuck with another $1,000 in costs at the hotel we moved to. Worst customer experience ever.
