Sarah was amazing, especially with our allergen restrictions, and made fantastic breakfasts on the weekend. We spent three days in the Hikers Hideaway suite and found it just right. The rooms are great, and the old mill has been beautifully renovated. It’s an easy drive to Natural Bridge park, with trails even closer by that we enjoyed too. Lexington and Staunton are both about 15-20 minutes away via either 81 or 11. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this lovely BNB.

The creek sounds and the little extras, including coffee and snacks, made this such a relaxing place to stop. We especially loved the luxurious soaking tub and original fireplace in the cozy cabin. Sarah was happy to fit us in at the last minute for an overnight stay while we were heading home from Christmas with family, and it gave us a welcome break from holiday traffic on 81. We only meant to stay the night, but now we can’t wait to come back for a whole weekend.

The innkeeper made us feel welcome, and her cooking was delicious. This historic building has so much character, with modern amenities inside an atmosphere that's hard to put into words. The photos attached give some idea of it. It felt like an experience in itself, not simply somewhere to sleep. I’d recommend everyone try it at least once.

The host was so attentive, with cookies and treats ready when we got back in the afternoon, plus fruit and snacks. She helped make this a wonderful stay. The Inn is cozy and inviting, full of rustic charm in an old mill. Each day brought a fresh gourmet breakfast, with lots of variety, generous portions, and lovely presentation. Now we understand why the other reviews gave it a 10! We couldn't have asked for a better host or stay. Highly recommend!!!

We came for a weekend at the historic Osceola Mill and Country Inn and stayed two nights in the spacious, comfortable, well-appointed Hikers Hideaway room. Saturday night, we relaxed around the outdoor wood-burning firepit and made s'mores. The inn provides what you need for the fire, and s'more supplies are available to buy if you need them. We brought our own. The front porch and comfortable living room make the Inn inviting, and we enjoyed browsing its books and games and reading after breakfast. On the weekends, kind, cheerful Sarah prepares a delicious breakfast. We chose the place partly because it's close to Goshen and the Virginia Scenic Railway, just a 35-minute scenic drive away. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return someday.
